November already.

I'm surprised. Things are moving along so quickly. I haven't exactly been having the best time for the past two or three months. Things have changed, and that kind of sucks... Can't really help it though. I'm dealing with it, I suppose. I've been feeling a bit hopeless. Scared. Angry. Confused. I have good moments. I have moments that just spiral down. It's like a roller coaster.

School's been going well though. My classes and teachers are all pretty awesome.
I also met my new guidance counselor last Friday. She's so sweet. Really nice. I went to get my transcript. Well, I dropped down in class rank. I went from being in the top 11% to %16. Comparing grades between sophomore year and freshman year, I just blew it. I'm trying to pick it back up this year.
This year's going to be pretty busy, being a junior. SATs. Agh~

Marching band is almost over. We only have this week left. This Saturday, we're off to Anapolis for Nationals, and that is it.
It's been a great season though. Being part of the pit/front ensemble has been quite an experience. I actually thought it was going to suck being in pit. Normally, the people who can't really do much are swept into that section, and for a while, our band's pit hasn't been so great. It has been the total opposite. I've learned a lot from being in the front ensemble. Puts things into perspective, really. Playing tympani has been amazing as well. I have improved a great deal since June. As a whole, I believe that we have accomplished far more than what has been expected of us. We've come a long way.
